Twisted Frequencies

Twisted Frequencies Present Hadra Records

What Twisted Frequencies are saying about their upcoming event:

The Hadra association was founded in Grenoble in 2001 by a group of electronic music enthusiasts, particularly fans of psychedelic trance. Etymologically, “hadra” refers, in Arabic, to the collective trance practiced during the ceremonies of Moroccan religious brotherhoods, especially the Issawas.

Hadra Records, a branch of the Hadra association, was created in 2004 to introduce the public to various compilations and albums representing different styles of psychedelic trance, including psychedelic trance, dark prog/psygressive, dark psy, progressive trance, and full-on.

We have two amazing acts from France flying in for this event, representing the label and showcasing their sounds at the mighty Volks, right on the Brighton seafront!

Ozric Tentacles

Ozric Tentacles & Gong Joint UK Tour 2023

What they say about Ozric Tentacles:

Ozric Tentacles are regarded as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK’s festival scene, formed during the solstice at Stonehenge Free Festival 1983 going on to become psychedelic staples at Glastonbury and other festivals. The creative vision of multi-instrumentalist Ed Wynne, the Ozrics’ uniquely trippy soundscapes connect fans of progressive rock, psychedelia and dance music culture.

What they say about Gong:

From its beginnings in a French commune in 1967, through the Virgin Records years, mismanagement, court cases, break-ups and rejoinings, deaths and rebirths – there has always been a continuous thread of beautiful, dangerous and extraordinary music. Gong’s musically diverse world includes shades of psychedelia, space rock, jazz, avant-garde, krautrock and surreal soundscapes.
